As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Summit Oaks Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position will work up to 19 hours per week and a minimum of 4 hours per month providing coverage "as needed." This position will cover hours between 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, and/or between 8:00 am-12:00 pm Saturday/Sunday/Holidays. This position will cover PTO and callouts on short notice.
Starting Pay: $18 an hour, depending on related work experience
About the Facility: Summit Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric and chemical dependency center has been serving the Northeast Region since 1902. The facility includes a 126-bed hospital and an outpatient counseling center that serves children, adolescents, and adults. Summit Oaks is licensed by the state of New Jersey and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Current experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail
- New Jersey Registration as a Pharmacy Technician required
- Experience filling 24-hour medication cassettes preferred but not required
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Covid-19 Vaccination
