Responsibilities:

• Manage, review, and sign off on complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and seniors; provide formal and on-the-job training.
• Conduct and review technical tax research; prepare and present clear recommendations to partners and clients.
• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions.
• Identify and resolve significant tax issues; communicate risks and opportunities to partners and clients.
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional client service.
• Support partners in practice management, including billing, proposal development, and business development efforts.
• Monitor changes in tax law and ensure firm compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Assist with internal process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance service quality.
