Logistics Manager, Americas
A global, multi-site manufacturing company is seeking a Logistics Manager - Americas to lead and optimize logistics operations across North and South America. This role is responsible for managing finished goods distribution, import/export activities, and inbound raw material flows to support production. The position focuses on cost control, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the regional supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee regional logistics flow of finished goods across the Americas
- Manage import and export operations, including cross-border shipments
- Control logistics spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate physical inventory through audits and controls
- Support procurement with timely and reliable inbound material flow
- Drive logistics process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience (10 years)
- Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (TM, IM, EWM preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience a plus
- Ability to travel as required
