The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods using ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or overages, and coordinate replenishment or disposal actions.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available for manufacturing schedules.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Generate inventory reports and provide analysis on stock trends, turnover, and variances.
- Support audits by providing documentation and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials handling, and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional bending or reaching.
- Comfortable working in warehouse or production floor environments.
