Castle Pines Village Metropolitan District (CPVMD) located near Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician (Levels I-III) to join our team. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for skilled and semi-skilled work in maintaining and repairing the District’s roadway, landscape, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and storm drainage systems. Duties involve manual labor, operating equipment, and responding to both routine and emergency maintenance situations. - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s license in good standing (Level I); Valid Colorado Class “B” Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) required for Levels II and III (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and participate in a rotational on-call schedule. Must reside within a 20-mile radius of the District’s office for on-call duty.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and use hand tools for repair and installation tasks.
- Maintenance Technician II: Two years of experience in utility, construction, or public works maintenance.
- Maintenance Technician III: Four years of progressively responsible experience in utility, construction, or public works maintenance, along with demonstrated leadership and crew coordination experience.

Work Environment:
Work takes place in water treatment facilities, pump stations, shops, and outdoor field locations under varied weather conditions. Rotating on-call duty and mandatory overtime may be required. Shifts may include nights and weekends.

Salary : $50,100 - $81,600
