Goleta West Sanitary District is seeking a seasoned, emotionally intelligent General Manager with deep technical knowledge of wastewater operations, a collaborative leadership style, and proven success in small agency management.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Extensive experience in sanitary district or special district operations
- Strong understanding of wastewater systems, SCADA, and capital project oversight
- A hands-on, people-first approach to organizational development and team leadership
- In-depth knowledge of LAFCO and special district governance
- The ability to lead with vision while honoring the district’s values and long-standing workforce culture

Minimum Qualifications:
