Machine Operator
1st Shift - 6:45am - 3:15pm

- Wilcox Technical High School

- Any machining, manufacturing, CNC, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing certificate program
- Community college machining technology programs
Even if you've never worked in manufacturing before, we'll train the right person.
What You'll Do
You'll learn to manufacture precision components used in biotechnology and microfluidic devices that help scientists and researchers around the world.
You'll receive training to:
- Operate precision manufacturing equipment
- Inspect parts using microscopes and precision measuring tools
- Read work instructions and blueprints
- Perform machining processes such as dicing, polishing, lapping, milling, and scribing
- Produce high-quality products while meeting exact specifications
- Work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school graduate or machining certificate is a big plus
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Manufacturing experience is helpful—but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
