Civil / Structural Engineer
Canfield, OH
We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing team supporting projects within heavy industrial and manufacturing environments. This role will focus on structural design, analysis, and technical support for facilities including steel manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis for steel and concrete structures
- Develop calculations, reports, and engineering documentation
- Review project scope and define deliverables
- Apply applicable design codes and standards (AISC, CMAA, AIST, etc.)
- Review drawings and provide design support to project teams
- Communicate with clients regarding project status and technical details
- Conduct site visits to gather information and support project execution
- Work within project schedules and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 years of civil/structural engineering experience
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and structural analysis software (STAAD preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of structural design codes and standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in industrial environments (stairs, platforms, varying conditions)
