Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards.
- Perform thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, brushing walls and tiles, and emptying skimmer baskets.
- Inspect and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs performed, and safety inspections.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all maintenance procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing of pools as needed, ensuring proper preparation for peak usage periods or off-season storage.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or pool technician is highly preferred; experience with pool equipment repair is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with complex machinery and perform repairs confidently.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and other basic maintenance tools; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing, water testing methods, and filtration systems.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
