Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and detail‑oriented Front Desk Customer Service Representative to join our cellphone repair team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them understand their device issues, checking in repairs, and creating accurate service tickets.
The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays organized, and is comfortable using our POS system to check in devices, process payments, and update customer information. This role also includes basic cash handling, maintaining a clean workspace, and keeping front‑of‑house supplies stocked.
Operating Hours
- Mondays to Saturday: 10:00 Am -7:00 Pm
- Sunday: 11:00 am - 5: 00 Pm
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise
- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure proper merchandising standards
- Manage inventory levels through stocking and inventory checks
- Assist with customer inquiries over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Supervise or mentor new team members when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout areas
- Support retail sales goals through effective communication and upselling techniques
Skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and stock management
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibly and professionally
- Familiarity with grocery store or retail sales environments is beneficial
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
