We are seeking a skilled Electronic Repair Technician to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Duties
- Diagnose and repair cell phones, tablets, and laptops, including hardware and software issues.
- Perform component-level repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, charging port repairs, and motherboard-level soldering.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, connectivity, and performance.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure devices meet quality standards before returning to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service timelines.
- Meet and exceed sales expectations by promoting repair services, accessories, and protection plans.
- Implement sales strategies to increase revenue, including upselling and cross-selling products.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding device care and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest repair techniques, tools, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of electronic components.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electronic repair, specifically for cell phones, tablets, and laptops.
- Strong knowledge of hardware components, mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), and computer OS (Windows, macOS).
- Proficiency in using repair tools and equipment, including soldering stations, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to perform micro-soldering and board-level repairs is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs efficiently.
- Experience in retail sales or meeting sales targets is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Prior experience in a retail repair environment is preferred.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
