cPort Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to delegate and prioritize tasks, and a proactive approach to resolving payment and fraud issues. The ideal candidate will have proven supervisory experience in payment operations and a deep understanding of credit union regulations, including Regulation E.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Payment Operations team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with credit union procedures and regulations, including Regulation E.
- Review and approve wire transfer requests, check adjustments, and ACH transactions.
- Investigate and resolve fraudulent debit card, check, and ACH activities.
- Troubleshoot debit card denials and other related issues.
- File chargebacks for debit card fraud and dispute claims.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated inquiries from staff and credit union members.
- Deliver high-quality work during periods of increased volume.
Location
This position will be located at our Main Office in Portland, Maine.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in payment operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with financial systems such as Symitar and FedLine is preferred.
- Strong background in fraud analysis, investigation, and prevention.
- Prior experience in a payment operations role is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of credit union regulations.
