Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our high-end carnicería. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, cash-handling experience, and preferably butcher or meat cutter knowledge to support our meat department when needed. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and requires someone who can provide excellent service to our community.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at checkout
• Operate POS system, process cash, card, and EBT transactions
• Bag groceries and handle meat/food items properly
• Keep checkout area clean and organized
• Assist with stocking, labeling, and rotating products
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service

Qualifications

• 2 years cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Butcher or meat cutter experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs
• Weekend/holiday availability

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
