We are seeking a New Construction Technician in Columbia, SC to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing our state-of-the-art home security solutions for residential customers. What You’ll Do:
- Install and repair electrical wiring for low-voltage systems, including alarm, security, fiber optic, and Cat 5 cabling.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately determine installation locations and methods.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in low-voltage systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of wiring and electronic systems, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Exhibit strong communication and customer service skills, along with familiarity with electrical building codes and proficiency in using power tools.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong sales skills, with an emphasis on upselling and closing techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and flexibility to work weekends.
