Collections Agent

CPI Security, a leader in the security and automation solutions industry, is looking for a Revenue Recovery Specialist to join our growing team at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC! We are looking for a Collections Specialist who is driven and passionate about reducing delinquency and providing outstanding service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage collection efforts with a high level of persuasiveness & professionalism. 
• Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts. 
• Place account on hold for incoming orders until payment is received. 
• Document daily collections activity including, but not limited to, emails sent as well as inbound and outbound phone calls. 
• Place outbound calls to delinquent customers to collect past due billing 
• Receive inbound calls from customers that wish to make payments or payment arrangements 
• Print, fold, and mail dunning letters to delinquent customers 
• Audit the cancel reason report on a monthly basis 
• May have additional duties as assigned by Management 

Job Requirements/Experience: 

• High school diploma required 
• Minimum of 2 years B2C and “soft” collections experience a plus 
• The hours for this position are Tuesday to Friday 12-9 and Saturday 9-5 with Sunday and Monday off.
• The pay for this position ranges from $42-52k in annual earnings.
