The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing overall business performance. This position partners closely with department leaders and senior executives to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics that align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the curiosity to explore the business drivers behind the numbers.Essential FunctionsPartner with department and executive leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecastsLead monthly financial reporting, including analysis and redesign of departmental P&L statementsProvide detailed variance analysis and explain performance drivers to business partners and leadershipConduct profitability and scenario analyses for new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and strategic initiativesSupport company-wide financial planning processes by creating and maintaining forecasting modelsAnalyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementDeliver actionable insights through clear, data-driven presentations and reportsParticipate in ad hoc projects and provide analytical support for strategic business decisionsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to interpret and synthesize complex financial data into meaningful insightsFinancial Modeling: Advanced modeling and reporting skills, with the ability to simplify and visualize complex data setsTechnical Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
