Your Day To Day
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transformer Winding Technician to manufacture high-voltage coils for electrical equipment. In this role, you will set up and operate manual winding machinery, handle insulation and chemical sealing processes, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure all components meet exact design, quality, and safety specifications. Responsibilities: Operate manual winding machines; prepare and form wire leads; set up and load machinery; apply insulation and structural reinforcement; perform mechanical sub-assembly; and collaborate with engineering and test technicians.

You Will Be Accountable For

- Perform other duties as needed and assigned
- Proven experience operating manual coil winding machinery in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Proficiency using mechanical measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify coil dimensions.
- Ability to manually lift and manipulate components weighing up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Strong commitment to shop safety, safe lifting techniques, and proper chemical handling protocols for epoxies and resins.
- This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception. Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.
