CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Project Engineer (EIT/EI) to join our dynamic and collaborative land development team in Tampa!
The Project Engineer supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hand on experience in best engineering practices and project management.
Duties Include
- Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting, and drawings.
- Conducts inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
- Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
- Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
- Stay up to date with engineering technology and industry standards.
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience a plus)
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet, or similar software is a plus
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- EI/EIT Certification or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry standards
