The Roadway Engineer is responsible of applying engineering principles to design, develop, and implement solutions for complex projects. This role is responsible of proper implementation of projects within budget, on schedule, and to the specified quality standards
Duties Include
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for roadway projects.
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Conduct analyses and tests to validate designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
- Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients.
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2 years of experience providing engineering support for transportation projects
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer
- Engineer in training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Dependent upon experience.
