We are seeking a Testing Technician to join our team in Tonawanda, NY. This full-time, non-exempt position will work within the Testing department to ensure compliance and functionality of our custom OEM equipment, based on customer specifications and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a hydraulic background, electrical knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting schematics and specifications.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare testing as required using product procedures and specifications
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and adjust as needed
• Review schematics and test plans and inspect, test and maintain hydraulic systems
• Ensure that all testing is documented and meets customer requirements
• Ensure general compliance of calibrated equipment and systems used for internal testing
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Ensure compliance with various internal and customer specifications.
• Support the testing department in all aspects
• Participate in cross training on multiple product lines
• Maintain high safety standards and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Always work safely per the OSHA and the organizations policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as required

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required; Vocational or Technical training preferred;
• Minimum 3 years verifiable experience in hydraulics field or in a related area
• Electrical knowledge or background considered an asset
• Ability to understand schematics
• Knowledge and experience using various hand tools, power tools and measuring devices
• General computer literacy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
