Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Construction Worker position based in Sayreville, NJ. The role involves performing a variety of tasks including masonry, flooring installation, construction, and renovation work. Daily activities will require working with construction materials, tools, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The Construction Worker will collaborate with team members to successfully complete assigned projects on time and with high-quality standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in construction, including concrete, masonry, asphalt, and general labor work
• Ability to speak and understand Portuguese or Spanish at a conversational level (required)
• Bilingual in Portuguese and English is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; candidates within the local area are not required to have their own transportation, while those outside the area must have reliable transportation to and from the construction yard
• Demonstrated punctuality and dependability, consistently arriving on time and ready to work
• Commitment to maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
