Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
Schedule: Full Time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations process, financial reporting, ad hoc reporting, accounting close process, revenue and fixed asset analyses and payroll analysis.

Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time, in-office position averaging 40 hours per week
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical demands include sedentary work, computer use, and frequent communication with employees, colleagues, and partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and maintain the general ledger accounting system. Includes the completion and control over the monthly and annual closing process.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Supervise and inputs monthly journal entries.
- Supervise billing and accounts receivable process.
- Maintain accounting records for all grants and contracts.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform financial analysis and modeling
- Research and correct accounting discrepancies in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee payroll process
- Verify cost allocations are in accordance with policies and procedures
- Perform reconciliation of intra-company transactions, major asset, liability, revenue and expense accounts to insure general ledger accuracy.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of related professional experience
- Have a firm grasp of GAAP and be able to use these principles, theories, concepts and practices and able to apply them to a variety of accounting functions.
- Familiarity with OMB Uniform Guidance accounting principles for Federal Awards.
- Having a CPA is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting systems and reporting functions such as Great Plains, Financial Edge, MIP or SAS.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Have very strong communications skills – both verbal and written are a must.
