Simple Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled and Licensed Plumber to perform plumbing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for commercial, residential, and government projects across the DMV area. The ideal candidate will possess a valid plumbing license, strong knowledge of plumbing codes, and experience working independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, valves, pumps, and piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and technical schematics.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs and corrective actions.
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, and plumbing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper functionality.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and clients.
- Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, and project documentation.
- Respond to emergency plumbing service calls as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing installation and maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics.
- Experience with commercial, residential, or government projects.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with gas piping systems, backflow prevention devices, water treatment systems, or medical gas systems.
- OSHA 10/30 Certification.
- Experience working on federal, public sector, or prevailing wage projects.
- Experience with plumbing systems in schools, hospitals, data centers, or government facilities.
