Monitor/Field Interviewer – Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) Program Chatham University invites applications for the position of Monitor/Field Interviewer within the Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) Program. This is a part-time, hybrid role that offers flexible scheduling and is ideally suited for individuals who can commit to working 12–25 hours per week. Work is available on a 9-month schedule. The IM4Q Program is a statewide initiative supported by the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a Monitor/Field Interviewer, you will play a vital role in conducting interviews that assess the satisfaction and everyday life outcomes of individuals with IDD residing in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, and Washington counties. Key Responsibilities Review pre-survey and demographic materials in preparation for interviews. Conduct structured interviews using standardized IM4Q protocols. Accurately document interview responses and observations. Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats. Demonstrate empathy, respect, and cultural humility in all interactions. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to safety and ethical standards. Qualifications High school diploma required; two years of post-secondary education preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Zoom, Dropbox, and other web-based tools. Reliable internet access and a personal computer or mobile device. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, listening, and observational skills. High emotional intelligence and the ability to interpret social cues.
