Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wet Utility Construction Foreman to lead and oversee underground construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, supervising construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive wet Utility underground construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and technical tools. We are an underground utility that specializes in Water, sewer, storm drain, electrical, communications, gas and street lights.
Duties
- Lead daily on-site construction activities s to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion
- Supervise Wet Underground Utility work Water, Sewer, Storm Drain and Fire water.
- Dry Utility experience is a plus but not required
- Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to minimize risks
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify accuracy and guide field operations effectively
- Conduct quality control inspections to uphold high standards of workmanship and adherence to specifications Qualifications
- Proven management experience in construction projects with a strong background in Wet Utility construction 5 years minimum experience
- Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of underground construction processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate execution of plans
- Familiarity with pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is a plus
- Certification in OSHA safety standards is recommended ; additional certifications such as management or technical training are advantageous
- Ability to operate Heavy equipment is advantageous
