Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping tasks to assure that the residence reflects a high quality of care and appearance.
• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as the suites, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pick-up area.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory, shower and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Administrator.
• Report to Administrator for needed repairs, replenishing of supplies and equipment needed.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist our Residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, serving meals, transfers and other services
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and loved ones
• Medication reminders and/or assistance
• Assist fellow staff and Managers as needed

Skills

• Ability to pass a background check and eligibility for employment.
• Ability to physically meet the demands as needed.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning chemicals that are non-allergenic for our Residents.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment as well as their use in cleaning and sanitizing.
• Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to help where needed
