The Junior Web Developer provides support for website maintenance, web application development, content updates, testing, and technical documentation activities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Support website and web page development, updates, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with content organization, publishing, and navigation configuration.
- Support development and testing of web application features and functionality.
- Assist with creation of forms, reports, and user interface components.
- Perform basic SQL scripting and support database update activities.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with website maintenance and content management practices.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in web development, application support, or related technical experience.
- Basic understanding of web development and database concepts.
- Each contractor employee must be a US citizen and have a favorably completed T3, T3R, or equivalent investigation to obtain a favorable determination for assignment. The investigation consists of a standard National Agency Check and an FBI fingerprint check plus law enforcement checks and credit check.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
