As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for dogs and cats
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming area and equipment
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- Knowledge of pet sitting and animal handling techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as some pets may require assistance during grooming
- Demonstrated ability in pet care and animal care practices
- Familiarity with dog training techniques is beneficial
