Part time housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas
• Care for floors through sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
