Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. This position involves residential construction and utility work, operating a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and job site safety. Responsibilities:
- Required: Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for residential construction and utility projects.
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate work.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating multiple sizes and types of excavators and skid steers.
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Knowledge of residential construction and utility installation practices.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
