Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and critical thinking.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for children.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to track children's growth and learning milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.
- Organize and participate in school events and community outreach programs.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.
- Participate in day to day operation of center and cover for other staff when absent
- Ensure Sign-in and Sign-out are completed on daily basis for the class
- Always have active supervision on every child in the class, hallways, playground or on field trips
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA or TCC.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare or educational setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective parent and team interactions.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to state licensing requirements.
