What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Person position at Cozy Cabins Real Estate, LLC.?
We are looking for a Maintenance person to join our property management team. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as light plumbing and electrical work, painting, and HVAC upkeep. In our industry, there is never a boring day! The ideal responsible candidate will be able to work independently and pay attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Survey properties and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
- Preventative maintenance on heating, cooling and plumbing systems
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace window mechanism etc.)
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)\
- Communicate and coordinate with office team on maintenance status and projects
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance person
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and other home systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength, able to lift 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Able to pass background check
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
