About the Role
Cozy Brew is looking for an energetic, dependable person to join our growing team. As a Shift Lead, you'll be supporting the team, keeping operations on track, and making sure every guest has a great experience. This role is ideal for someone with prior coffee/matcha or hospitality leadership experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead shifts with professionalism, positivity, and a sense of urgency
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Ensure drink quality, consistency, and speed of service throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready environment throughout each shift.
- Oversee opening/closing procedures and daily checklists
- Manage stock levels and communicate inventory needs
- Resolve guest concerns confidently and professionally
- Keep the team aligned on tasks and priorities during busy periods
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Utilize communication tools including Slack, email, and daily shift logs to support operational alignment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of leadership experience in coffee, café, or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
- Passion for hospitality and team development
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Flexible weekend availability
- Must be 18 or older
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs

Payrange: $19 - $21/hour Tips
