Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day accounting functions, including the auditing of daily revenue and expenses.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
• Manage front desk tasks, such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries.
• Handle guest complaints or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guests and hotel information.
• Ensure that the front desk and lobby area are clean and well-maintained.
• Cooperate with the morning shift team to ensure smooth transition and continuity of operations.
• Support the hotel's loss prevention measures by reporting any irregularities immediately.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality during and after employment.
• Able to work holidays, weekends and evenings as needed.
• Able to assists with Hotel and other Tribal events including setup, cleanup, etc.
• Must maintain professional behavior with positive representation of the Tribe and Hotel while on and off the clock.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Further education in accounting or hospitality is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands
The Night Audit Clerk role requires long periods of sitting, occasional walking, and the ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds. This role involves frequent interaction with guests and staff, and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively. Working during night hours is a significant aspect of the role, thus requiring individuals who can adapt to a nocturnal schedule. Excellent customer service skills are essential to manage these demands effectively.
