Position Summary

The ideal candidate is a manufacturing leader, not a construction superintendent. The focus should be on lean manufacturing, production flow, safety, quality, schedule attainment, and developing the night-shift team.

Key requirements should include:

Proven Lean Manufacturing experience — 5S, standard work, one-piece flow, waste elimination, visual management, and continuous improvement.
Experience leading a second/night shift manufacturing operation.
Strong background in welding, steel fabrication, tanks, pressure vessels, or heavy manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to improve throughput, labor efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
Strong commitment to safety first and quality second.
Experience managing supervisors, welders, fitters, material handlers, and production personnel.
Comfortable using an ERP/MRP system for production schedules, labor, inventory, and work orders.
Hands-on leader who spends significant time on the production floor, not managing from an office.
Able to conduct shift startup meetings, Gemba walks, track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and hold the team accountable to standard work.
Experience implementing or sustaining 5S and visual factory systems.
Welding/fabrication knowledge strongly preferred.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
