The Role
We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician to join our Boise lab full-time. You'll work directly alongside our Lab Manager, R&D, and Management teams to fabricate and deliver high-quality devices for our patients
This position is on-site only and cannot be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices according to quality and turnaround standards
- Perform thermoforming, laminating, and component modification as needed
- Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace using 5S practices
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams on device production
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- ABC Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician certification preferred, or 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with thermoforming, laminating, and device modification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- Experience with 5S or lean workspace practices a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
