Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely meal assembly

- Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service
- Help with food presentation to ensure dishes meet aesthetic standards for fine dining or catering events
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations regularly
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy periods and special events
Experience
- Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is highly desirable
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal assembly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
- Exposure to fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and safety standards
