Key responsibilities
- Patient scheduling and coordination: Manage the hygiene schedule, confirm appointments, and follow up with patients to ensure full scheduling and timely check-ups.
- Administrative duties: Handle patient check-in/check-out, answer phones, update patient medical and insurance records, and manage patient accounts.
- Insurance and billing: Verify patient insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist with processing claims and collecting payments.
- Patient communication: Greet patients, answer questions about procedures, and provide information on treatment plans and aftercare.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, including treatment history, insurance information, and contact points.
- Office support: Collaborate with the dental hygienists and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms.
Qualifications
