Coyne Veterinary Center - St. John seeks customer service focused individual to join their growing reception team! The Kennel Manager is responsible for supervising all aspects of the boarding facility and hospital maintenance. He/She is responsible for all administrative and personnel management of the kennel staff and kennel shift leaders. The kennel manager maintains equipment maintenance, boarding facility inventory and implements safety and training programs. He/She also handles and/or oversees all duties outlined in the Kennel Attendant and Kennel Shift Leader job descriptions. This leadership position sets the example for all hospital staff to follow in animal care. The kennel manager directly supervises kennel shift leaders. He/She should have general veterinary medical knowledge to ensure standards of care are followed for patient care. The kennel manager must have exceptional client service and communication skills, and confidence to deal with stressful situations and difficult employees/clients.
