Job Description:
Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department.Education: Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR High School diploma or equivalent AND Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Experience: No prior experience required Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Working knowledge of computers Ability to organize instrument sets Able to pass a written proficiency review. Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Preferred: CRCST or CBSPD (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)
