Capable of performing a variety of clerical duties within the Radiology department. These duties include patient registration, collecting copays, collecting and inputting the insurance and subscriber information, updating patient information within the electronic systems, obtaining missing orders, and scheduling of interventional procedures. Answers phones and seeks the appropriate person to assist callers. Able to work within multiple electronic systems.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: ▪ Required: 2 years of radiology clerical/registration experience. ▪ Preferred: 3 or more years radiology clerical/registration experience. Skills: ▪ Strong analytical/problem solving skills. ▪ Proficient in using computers and computer systems ▪ Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills. ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ▪ Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams. ▪ The ability to float to different Imaging departments within the CoxHealth system.
