What You'll Do :

  • Develop new accounts while maintaining and expanding your customer base through cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and retention.
  • Identify new prospects and create sales opportunities with current customers.
  • Assess technology needs and goals of prospective and existing customers through meetings.
  • Employ a consultative approach to educate and influence prospects and customers about Cox Business offerings.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their business, industry, and key competitors.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and reduce churn by renewing contracts.
  • Create strategies and presentations to sell complex bundled voice, data, and video solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and products with new and existing clientele.
  • Represent Cox Business in the community to establish and maintain its market presence.
  • Who You Are :

    This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Cox's products, along with the ability to effectively communicate their benefits to business clients. You need to be a quick learner and an attentive listener with the following qualifications :

  • Minimum : A bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience; or a master's degree with 4 years of experience; or 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office, and a CRM system.
  • Strong relationship-building, written communication, and formal presentation skills.
  • Preferred : 2 years of experience in telecommunications, technology, or cloud sales.
  • Familiarity with the local market and key contacts.

    Compensation :

    The compensation includes a base salary ranging from $83,400.00 to $125,200.00, varying based on factors such as location and candidate experience. Additionally, this role qualifies for an annual incentive / commission target of $68,200.00.

    Benefits Description :

    The Company provides eligible employees the ability to take as much paid vacation as they feel is consistent with their responsibilities, along with seven paid holidays throughout the year and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for self-care or family health needs. There are also provisions for additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, and parental leave.
