Marketing & Business Development Manager

Cox, Castle is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager. The Manager will work closely with the firm’s marketing and business development team and Chief Strategy and Development Officer. This position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and provides an excellent opportunity for advancement.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with our team of BD and marketing professionals to drive growth and implement BD and marketing initiatives
• Manage responses to RFPs, pitches, and presentations
• Assist partners in developing and executing business development plans
• Facilitate the firm’s participation in events, conferences, seminars, sponsorship opportunities, and attorney speaking engagements
• Oversee the firm's promotional efforts and brand management
• Proactively bring new ideas to create opportunities in the market
• Manage directory and award submissions (Chambers, Legal 500)
• Supervise BD and marketing team

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 7 years of marketing/BD experience in a law firm environment is required
• Proactive professional who inspires confidence and trust with partners and colleagues
• Strategic thinker with proven ability to execute and achieve results
• Track record of successfully working with attorneys to build and expand their business and promote the firm’s brand
• Collaborative and ability to work with a wide range of professionals
• Excellent project management and managerial skills
• Experience with CRM, email marketing systems, and website platforms are a plus
• Some travel to firm offices and events is required

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary to be based upon experience and education; we're targeting between $150,000-$180,000 annual
• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as 401(k) and vacation time
• Hybrid work arrangement, first 90 days fully in office, followed by in office 4 times per week and on an as needed basis.
