Job description
- Assist escrow officer in Closing residential and commercial purchase and sale and refinance real estate transactions;
- Review contracts between parties for duties and responsibilities of the escrow/closing agent;
- Review title reports and/or UCC searches for property/assets being transferred and clear any liens;
- Assist with settlement statements and closing disclosure statements;
- Assist with closing protection letters, payoff requests, and transfer documents;
- Field incoming phone calls from clients/agents/lenders;
- Send opening letters to seller/buyer/borrower
- Assist with funding/recording
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and referral sources;
Education
· High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
· 1-2 years related experience preferred
