Cowlitz Container & Display is looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and learn various skills and roles, with opportunity to become an operator.
Starting out as a laborer, you'll learn how to work efficiently with the team, practice safety in the manufacturing environment, and show management you can take on more responsibility.
Summary:
As a manufacturing laborer, you are responsible for assisting with set up for machine jobs, keeping track of production numbers (counting products), stacking or palletizing finished goods, cleaning after jobs are completed, and upholding safety, quality, productivity and cost standards.

Requirements:
**Must be reliable to arrive on time and meet attendance expectations.
**Must be able to count, read, write in English and perform basic mathematics.
**Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel.
**Must be flexible to learn new jobs and take on assignments as needed.
**The job may be performed at our Kelso location or our Kalama location.
**Forklift experience preferred but not required - willing to learn.
