Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen support is advantageous but not mandatory
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; attention to detail is essential
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
