Leasing Consultant – Luxury High-Rise Apartments
Location: Downtown Salt Lake City, UT
About the Role
Cowboy Properties is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at one of downtown Salt Lake City's premier luxury high-rise apartment communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional resident experience.
As the first impression of our community, you'll be responsible for creating memorable leasing experiences, converting prospects into residents, and providing outstanding service throughout the resident lifecycle. Success in this position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hospitality mindset.
Essential Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective residents and provide personalized tours of the community and available apartment homes.
- Effectively present community amenities, floor plans, pricing, and the benefits of living in a luxury downtown high-rise.
- Follow up with prospects through phone, email, text, and CRM systems to maximize lease conversions.
- Process rental applications and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with the property management team to ensure a seamless move-in experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Assist with resident retention initiatives, renewal conversations, and community events.
- Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitor pricing, and community availability.
- Maintain the appearance and presentation of the leasing office, model apartments, and amenity spaces.
- Utilize Yardi and other property management software to maintain accurate records and leasing activity.
- Meet or exceed leasing, occupancy, and customer service goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the community.
Qualifications
- Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective residents.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with technology, CRM systems, and property management software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule designed to provide exceptional service to our residents and prospects.
Office Hours
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Required)
- Sunday: Closed
Work Schedule Expectations
- Saturdays (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) are required.
- The office is closed on Sundays.
- Team members receive one additional weekday off each week.
- On weeks when you are scheduled to work a late shift, your start time that day will be 11:00 AM, resulting in an 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM schedule.
- The remaining weekday schedule is 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
