Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper/Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in plumbing, construction, and maintenance projects. As a Helper/Plumber, you will assist skilled tradespeople in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of projects while developing essential skills in plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Duties
- Assist lead plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, if you do not know how I will teach you.
- Prepare work sites by measuring, cutting, threading pipes, and assembling components according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, and material estimation
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction site work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, again if you do not know I will show you.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and working at heights on construction sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Valid driver’s license is preferred; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
