Duties
- Perform comprehensive plumbing inspections using plumbing inspection cameras to identify issues within residential water and drainage systems.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow throughout the home’s plumbing network.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately install or repair plumbing components in accordance with local building codes.
- Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to various residential sites; ensure all safety protocols are followed during on-site work.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing fixtures, installing new piping, and performing system upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with homeowners to explain repair procedures, maintenance tips, and answer any questions about their plumbing systems.
Experience
- Construction experience with residential or commercial plumbing projects is highly preferred.
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools for plumbing tasks.
- Proven experience in drain cleaning techniques and the use of plumbing inspection cameras.
- Knowledge of local building codes related to residential plumbing installations and repairs.
- Hands-on experience with construction site work or remodeling projects is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installations or repairs.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces; handyman experience is a plus.
