Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Support kitchen operations through manual handling and heavy lifting, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times
- Buss tables, clear dishes, and support serving staff to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing purposes
- Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, bussing, or guest services is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and deliver excellent customer service
- Previous banquet experience or hospitality background is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
